Grindleford Café & Spring Water

Nestled in the heart of the Peak District, we’re a place to pause, refuel, and reconnect — whether you’re walking the trails, passing through, or seeking a moment of calm.

Our café and spring water come from the same place — the heart of Grindleford. Family-run and rooted in the Peak District, we serve freshly made food alongside our own locally sourced spring water, all in a beautiful countryside setting.

A family-run café set within the original building of Grindleford Station since 1973, we’ve welcomed generations of bikers, walkers, cyclists, locals, and visitors alike. From proper chip butties and full English breakfasts to hearty meals, homemade desserts, and freshly prepared drinks, everything is cooked to order on site - simple, generous food done right.

Alongside the café, you’ll also find a carefully chosen selection of local art, gifts, postcards, memorabilia, books, and more, all available to browse and take home.

Grindleford Springwater is rooted in the landscape that surrounds us. Our water flows from natural sources in the Peak District, shaped by the land itself — fresh, local, and part of the story we share with every visitor.

Our spring water is more than a product — it’s part of us. Filtered naturally through the Peak District landscape, it reflects purity, simplicity, and sustainability. We also supply spring water to homes and businesses, bringing the same fresh local water enjoyed here to customers across the region.‍
